There are a few alternate methods to brewing Armenian Coffee other than over a traditional stovetop burner.
One such method is the using a stand alone steamer or the one incorporated on many commercial and consumer espresso machines.
We here at ԳAVAT (pronounced "Kavat") Coffee found that these steamers do a great job in whipping up a tasty brew and in many cases, work much faster than holding the pot over a traditional gas flame.
